President
Dr. Altalouli, co-founder and President of the Rochester Arab Community, serves as a full-time faculty member at SUNY Brockport's Department of Education. His active engagement with respected organizations including Mercy Corps- Gaza (Palestine) has provided him with valuable firsthand experiences in community service and impactful initiatives.

Mostafa Mohamed

Dr. Mostafa is a research assistant professor of Geriatric oncology at Wilmot Cancer Institute. As a dedicated faculty member, I merge my passion for academia with my commitment to community service. My goal is to leverage my expertise to enhance outreach efforts and advocate for our community's diverse needs, enriching lives through philanthropy and collaboration.

Khaled Fouda
Treasurer
Khaled brings a wealth of expertise to the organisation, with a decade of experience honed in New York's dynamic landscape & (AEC) sector. Drawing a compelling parallel between communities and buildings, Khaled emphasizes both are grounded in commonalities, require robust foundations, and demand continual upkeep to excel. He united with a group of passionate individuals to establish RAC, to collaboratively nurture and strengthen the Arab community's bonds, ensuring its prosperity and resilience.

Mohamed Mokhaimer
Board Member
Mohamed Mekhaimer is an associate professor of finance at St. John Fisher University. Prior to moving to Rochester, he worked at Clarkson University. He also served as a visiting researcher at the University of Ottawa and a visiting fellow at the University of Portsmouth.
Mohamed joins the RAC board aiming to increase the economic footprint of the Arab community in Rochester and create better civic engagement opportunities for the younger generations.

Mohamed Mahmoud, co-founder and board member of the Rochester Arab Community, is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Director of Digital Dentistry at Eastman Institute For Oral Health, University of Rochester. With academic experiences, his commitment extends to fostering cultural connections within Rochester's Arab community, integrating excellence in academia and community service seamlessly.

Mahmoud Eisa
Board Member
Dr. Mahmoud Eisa, MD, co-founder and board member of the Rochester Arab Community has an extensive medical career spanning 12 years across Egypt, Qatar, and the United States. Dr. Eisa now serves as a dedicated hospitalist at Rochester Regional Health. His commitment to the community goes beyond healthcare, fostering cultural connections and support within the Arab population in Rochester.

Nisreen Al Jallad, DDS, MS
Board Member
Nisreen Al Jallad, originally from Damascus, Syria, is a general dentist and academic, now serving as an Assistant Professor of Dentistry at the University of Rochester's School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York. Her journey from a war-torn country to establishing a successful career in the USA embodies resilience and determination. Beyond her professional achievements, Nisreen is passionately committed to the Arab community in Rochester, striving to create a nurturing "harbour community" that offers comprehensive services and fosters an environment where children can grow, appreciating their Arab heritage, thereby enriching the cultural tapestry of her adopted home.

Riham Alieldin MD, PhD, MS
Board Member
Dr. Riham Alieldin, is a faculty member at the University of Rochester. She obtained her medical degree from Alexandria University Medical School in Egypt and pursued advanced degrees, earning both an MSc and Ph.D. from the University of Rochester.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Dr. Alieldin is deeply dedicated to serving the Arab community in Rochester, especially focusing on their overall well-being and needs. Her work is driven by her commitment to creating a strong, supportive Arab community in Rochester, where cultural pride and mutual support are paramount. Dr. Alieldin champions equity and diversity and her vision is to establish a robust foundation for an Arab community in Rochester characterized by strength, resilience, respect, and shared values.

Zahir Abubaker Rph. BCCP
Board Member
Zahir is a Palestinian who was born and raised in Kuwait until the Gulf War, during which he was forced to start high school in the US. He graduated from Albany College of Pharmacy and had a long-term career as a pharmacist, both in community pharmacy (11 years) and as a clinical pharmacist at URMC in various pharmacy fields (13 years). His engagement in patient care helped him develop a strong sense of compassion and empathy, along with a passion for helping others. Zahir’s aim is to assist Arabs who are forced to leave their home countries with the transition.
